Cancellation and Refund Policy
You can cancel any time, with no contract or cancellation fee. Because our free-forever plan lets you try Video Service Desk before paying, payments are non-refundable except in the cases listed below.
1. Cancelling your subscription
How to cancel. The account admin can cancel any time from the dashboard under Settings > Billing. If you have trouble, email support@nanothread.io from your registered email address. We will confirm the cancellation by email.
When it takes effect. Your paid plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. It will not renew after that. Your account then moves to the free plan, or closes if you asked us to close it.
Your data. You can export your inquiries and recordings from the dashboard before your paid period ends. Features and data not included in the free plan, such as recordings, may no longer be available after that. If you close your account, we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
2. Refunds
No refunds. We do not refund subscription fees, usage charges or taxes once paid. This includes:
- cancelling partway through a monthly or yearly period;
- unused Agent seats, inquiries or minutes;
- downgrading to a lower plan or removing seats;
- not using the account.
Plan changes. Upgrades and added seats take effect straight away and are charged for the rest of the current period. Downgrades and seat removals take effect from your next renewal.
When we do refund. We will refund you in these cases:

To claim one, email support@nanothread.io within 30 days of the charge, with your account email and the transaction ID. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 7 working days. Your bank may take longer to show it.
3. Other purchases and payments
Partner marketplaces. If you bought VSD through a marketplace or reseller, its own refund policy applies. Ask that marketplace for any refund.
Lifetime licences. Lifetime licences bought directly from us are non-refundable.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we will email you. You can pay manually from the dashboard. If it stays unpaid for 7 days, paid features are suspended until payment is made. Charges from your bank, payment provider or for currency conversion are your responsibility.
Taxes. Indian Customers are charged GST. Customers outside India are responsible for any local taxes.
Changes to this policy. We may update this policy and will post the new version on this page. Changes do not affect payments made before the update.
